No Surprise Microsoft Are Rebranding Their Internet Explorer!

Should I be surprised that Microsoft is rebranding and redeveloping their Internet Explorer? Over the decade, the 2nd browser wars, as the first war was between Netscape and Internet Explorer, which Internet Explorer won by default. The 2nd Browser wars is because Google's Chrome, Firefox and a whole bunch of other smaller browsers. They were all known because people just didn't like Internet Explorer, as Internet Explorer was built in with Windows and etc.

It's as browsers now a days are a everyday essential software but people must be aware that it's a choice to use a browser, not a must have packaged in Windows software. Even the infamous pirate bay has even taken the time to offer people a web browser to get around the 'problems' that people face when downloading illegal contents.

Some of Microsoft products last extremely long, I haven't even finished Age of Empires 2 yet and that's a massive computer game, I think Microsoft has accepted that browsers are part of everyday life in the internet and it shares the massive statement if they are going out of the way to re-brand their explorer to enter the market of internet explorers like Chrome and Firefox.

Five E-Services Which Could Go Retail in Future

After news that Amazon is openning a retail store in New York, I started to wonder which other major online services will do the same thing within the future.

PlayStation Store

Sony already has stores around the world. It should be no surprise that the PlayStation Store service that can be seen and used from people's PlayStation 3 and 4, to the point where it would be popular enough in the future, for Sony to start setting up stores just focused entirely on gaming. The PlayStation already is doing everything they can to make the PlayStation worth while. Japan, let along Sony always relied on exports for business to date, Sony, being the only Japanese company on this list, is more likely going to retail from an E-Service found on people's PlayStation.

Facebook

Facebook is already working on the Ocolus Rift after the buy out. Also the Facebook Phone which never taken off was made, so it makes me wonder where Facebook will take the data and start inviting new stuff to the point where they would open a story in their own city, New York. Facebook has always faced with some messy business and everyone wants in, so it's worth thinking about.

MySpace

The amount of record contacts that MySpaces has made is something. Maybe not enough of it but maybe in the future, they get the music business mixed with the internet figured out to the point where everyone is buying singles. Of course, there's already a bunch of popularity there, with artists already getting record deals and selling their singles and albums. MySpace is one to look into it, to check some interest, where they will open their own record store.

AOL

AOL have been around long enough and being a nationwide service for boardband, they're not afraid to sample out content from time to time. AOL has been offering exclusive services for the most part however this has always been swept under the rug and forgotten about, (like Magestorm) compared to their CDs they were carpet bombing too much anyone that got their hands on a few, if not one.

AOL may one day united all of the United States of America internet and produce something more then just a  annoying CD promoting their service, to the point where they have to open a store. AOL is that powerful to do so.

Google

Major sucking up when I say and post this. Clearly Google has their Androids smartphones out, Their Google Glasses and smart smoke alarms in the future and who knows if they start selling on the spot lottery tickets.

Don't let the Youtube April Fools on DVDs get to you. It's actually possible for someone to become successful enough to have their own DVD series, just not like the April Fools joke described it, for it not to let it happen.

Google in the future is something that no one knows, but with their current product line up, it makes you wonder how they are going to make the most out of their resources.

This is just a start of physical stores. It shouldn't be a surprise if the Internet is going to slowly change our lifestyle and be known. It's something worth thinking about if Amazon has openned their first store in New York.

Looking Better Tech Networking Hobby

In my days of being a teenager. I used to buy wiring, connectors and stuff like that to help me connect to the Internet. Purchasing a long wire 20m long and connect it from one part of the house to the other end and set it up. It was hard work but worth it.

Then you had these problems in the household, like someone would hijack your phone line and I've even had a case where I had an annoying uncle staying over my place and wouldn't see my hard work in setting up a phone line to the internet and showed me no respect even when he should of knew.

There would be time where I would lash out. 'Get off the F***ing phone if you can't get set your phone line' or 'what the f**k is he doing?'

It's nice to know that the telephone companies want to make their service cheaper and provide and connect all that equipment up as well as providing a telephone service aswell, as it sorts that problem out. I just miss that hard work in getting that wiring in the house hold and setting it up myself. Now that's gone. No more plugging wires into phone sockets and no more buying wires of that sort. It's going to slowly move onto televisions and mobiles. It doesn't feel like the hard work thinking about it as someone else is going to do it. (maybe the robots in the future)

However networking between electronics is still important and it just means that I have to do everything I can find to a better hobby in terms of technology networking. It's a good idea to have. There would be times where I would use my Ethernet from my laptop and connect it to another computer in the house, both running in Vista and transfer files from one computer to another.

A matter of fact, you'll be surprised how many businesses cash-in over the networking part in the home or work place after those technicians set it up, with Microsoft being the biggest example, That's how Microsoft built their company during the 90s and with what they did, people went out of their way to go against Microsoft to tell them that they were evil and someone like Bill Gates became a millionaire.

I mean I can find out so much more stories about this and it goes to show that they've already tapped into what an Ethernet can do.

How Far Are We Going To Be Google Fans?

Google has been hitting the news time and time again, (funny how I'm blogging this on Blogger), they have all this equipment such as the Google StreetCar and the upcoming Google Glass and Google Home Alarm. Then you'll end up getting the Google house or Google Nightclub if it ever happens!

Which makes me ask this question on how we'll ever be such fans of Google. I shouldn't be surprised that the Internet has gone this far, we have companies in Seattle like Amazon opening a retailer now and their fans there and South Korea has all those games and MMOs back in 2009, where some have become retailed packaged single player offline only experiences.

It does feel like Google is slowly entering peoples lives where people are a bit baffled about how the internet affects our everyday lives. Everyone wanting to know what the internet offers and how it affects our everyday life, it's just what people talk about because the people I talk too, simply don't know and it bothers me aswell, but I shouldn't be so scared of it.

China's not so quiet about their internet enterprises aswell, you know where I'm going with that. I just have to remember that Google is just a internet company that wants to make the most out of the Internet. They wouldn't be the biggest retailer like Walmart as they get their ideas on how to run a retailer from them or the United States Army who enjoys offering protection for the country that could offer support to them. Internet firms wouldn't be a company without other sector companies and would never over take them. It's nice to have an internet company that very powerful after seeing that some country like China wants to emulate that sort of enterprise, because I think that's how powerful Google is, if everyone talks about it.

The Mistake Almost Indie Website Developers Makes

A mistake I made when developing a website only to find that EVERY indie website developer makes . You think with visual basic and some simple line of code would take your website of the ground? Think again. Here's one mistake I opennly admit that I've made, only to find that Google is serious about their line of work.

During the late 90s, when I was around 13 or 14, I was amazed with how lines of code can build a website but when it comes down to ideas, I didn't have any. Now in 2014, I still have no ideas, so I still went around conception what I could do with the code and the potential I have.

The common and popular idea people have is to gather ideas from those big companies with those big ideas. So here's the (terrible) idea I had. Let's make a webpage with a search bar and button and have that page link to Google's search results and program everything to make search easier..

So I went and tried it, I even went online and searched on how to get the code for it to try and get a search engine running on my website, because I'm not that good at coding at the moment, only to find an online forum where people are asking the question on how to get a search engine running on their website.

That's not even the end. I went and found that Google has provided something like that for other websites. They've provided a service where you can have a Google bar onto your website or to search any other website in greater detail, which can be found here: https://www.google.com/cse/all

Google clearly thought about this and seen what's heading their way. I have to admire the fact that Google have thought about it, so it does make me wonder how far Internet Search has gone into and why Google wants to share the idea of providing a custom search engine. (not money)

A matter of fact, why do people follow Google to get this idea and information? Why not Yahoo or Bing? People go straight to Google! (saying this out of embarrassment). We're all going to Google, so clearly Google is making the most out of it people heading their way.

As Google provides such a feature, they also provide a service where you can have you own and even run it aswell, they even pay you if you opted up to purchase and make money out of it, with ad streams, if you are willing go that far into getting the custom search engine.

Surprised that Amazon Wants The Hotel Industry?

It's been reported that Amazon wants to set up a website to manage hotels. Am I surprised? I had a theory that Google was going to manage Nightclubs in the future. I shouldn't be surprised if Amazon wants hotels, as they've set up an Amazon store in New York, so why wouldn't they?

I wouldn't be surprised if those big companies are hitting those bigger building industries. I suppose they're just having fun.

Youtube's Advert: TheSlowMoGuys

I'm sure I don't need to say much about this, who would of thought Google would pay other websites to display their ads, considering Google gets most of it's revenue from displaying other adverts, they decide to take it upon themselves to release ads on other websites.

It's advert itself it actually very well done, the advert asks you to hover your mouse and your mouse cursor changes to the side arrows which usually appear when you move your mouse over the windows size, to resize the window, however in this case, dragging your mouse from size to size actually plays animation, as you can see, from TheSlowMoGuys footage. It's a one of a kind advert, hence why I'm also keeping it.

It's a keeper.

PS: I'm not sucking up to Google. I hope this blog post doesn't come this way.
