I'm glad the Amazon game service is around, however the same could be said about all the other game services out there, such as Google's one. Google has stepped up to unveil their Nexus. A gaming console which runs Google's firmware.
I've taken a chance to try out the Amazon gaming service. It's not that bad. I was able to find a few games to blow some money on. I was always a fan of the Commandos series when I was a teenager and given away the discs to a friend, so I taken the time to buy the games on the Amazon services.
It's really nice to see Amazon have their own client to allow people to download games. It's always been this way for many other companies early in the decades. It's really professional. Should I be surprised? Microsoft are also based in Washington state, a few miles away from Amazon, so clearly someone offered their skills to make this happen.
Now people are just going to wait until Amazon makes a video game, just like how Amazon have started making their webs shows with their studio.
